About

Overview
Named after the dragonfly, the majestic queen of forest insects, this structure is a part of a treehouse village that make up the Treehotel, located in the forests in Harads, in northern Sweden. The room was designed to be the largest of the Treehotel’s six treehouses at the time.

The building is attached to six tall pines and hovers six meters above the ground. The 53 square meter suite contains three bedrooms and sleeps up to six guests at a time, but can also be used as a conference room for up to twelve people. The exterior is clad with ventilated skin in Cor-Ten steel, while the interior is lined with stained plywood.
