About
Overview
Every day of the Trienniale (72 all together), a wooden balsa bird was sent up to carried by a meteorological research balloon.
The bird carried a positive message inside, asking the finder to plant five seeds according to a primeval Japanese ceremony.
The birds were launched from a rope and steel cocoon-like construction situated in the harbour of Yokohama.
